About the Co-founders
Joe Cuervo and Ray Navarrete forged a lifelong friendship while attending and playing baseball for Seton Hall University. Throughout their college years, the two had many conversations regarding their future endeavors in professional athletics and the business world. Aside from their athletic goal of playing professional baseball, both had discussed of one day starting their own company.
With their love for music and entertainment, along with a unique fashion style, both Cuervo and Navarrete had discoverd what market and industry they wanted to get involved in. With this passion for fashion and entertainment, the digmi clothing company was formed in 2004. With this creation, came a brand that was blind to boundaries and limitations regarding style, race, religion, and gender.
Before the birth of the digmi clothing company, both owners gained valuable experience in the business world as well as the professional athletic arena. Together they obtained valuable retail and managerial experience while holding managerial postitions with Abercrombie & Fitch.
After accomplishing a lifelong goal of playing professional baseball, Cuervo held a position at Brooks Brothers and in the finance industry. Ray Navarrete continues his pursuit of a Major League Baseball career.
